Parkview Outdoor Revitalization
Outdoor Revitalization Update (November 2020)!
We are excited to announce that despite the setbacks faced from COVID, Parkview Community League is going forward with plans to revitalize our outdoor space! The project will now be phased, with Phase 1 commencing approximately summer of 2022. This will include demolishing the existing fencing and rink, to be replaced with a brand new rink, new lighting, and storage shed, along with creating a usable space in summer in the form of beach volleyball courts!
CELEBRATE YOUR FAMILY AND YOUR PARKVIEW COMMUNITY SPIRIT!
Donate $1,000 today and have your family's name printed on the outside of the new rink!
In addition to having your family's name on the rink itself, your name will be added to our donor list online, as well as posted on a "leaf" and added to the vinyl banner in the hall!
Helping to get this project underway is as simple as downloading the donor agreement, filling it out, and dropping it off with a cheque to the hall or pop it in the mail to Parkview Community League Hall, 9135 - 146 Street NW Edmonton T5R 4L5
CHOOSE YOUR SPOT!! Pick the board you want your family's name on! Have friends in the community? Choose spots for your family trees to sit next to each other!
HAVE A BUSINESS? Advertise your business inside the new rink!
Sponsor a rink board for $5,000, and your business will get a 3-foot-by-8-foot rink board on which to advertise!
In addition to having your business's name on the rink itself, your business will be added to our sponsor list online and added to the vinyl banner in the hall!

PARKVIEW OUTDOOR REVITALIZATION - FULL PROJECT OVERVIEW
PVCL approved an Outdoor Revitalization Committee (ORC) in the fall of 2017. We have been working diligently since that time with our City of Edmonton representative to get this project underway! The project will focus on the areas to the north and east of the hall. It will include removing the chain link fence, rebuilding the rink, adding a sand base for summer beach volleyball (and other sand-based activities), refurbishing the basketball court, and repurposing the tennis court. (Playground will remain as-is)
The project will cost an estimated $1.2 million, which will come from community fundraising and grants from the City and the Province.
We need your help to fundraise! The sooner we raise the funds, the sooner the project will happen!
