Parkview Community League operates under the direction of an energetic board of directors, and several standing and ad hoc committies.  The league is primarily comprised of volunteers whose collective effort makes our centre a beautiful and vibrant hub of activity in the community with a variety of yearly social events, in house programs, and third party social/fitness programs.

If you are interested in becoming a part of this exciting entity, the league would be happy to have you on board.  Please contact us at  info@pvcl.ca

Community Swim

Update (as of Oct 29, 2021):

Hello Community League Members,

The Community League Swim Program will remain on hold for the remainder of 2021.

As noted earlier, one of the primary delays for not being able to resume this program this Fall is the shortage of staff, in particular, the shortage of lifeguards. Efforts are ongoing to recruit, hire and train more lifeguards.

At this time, we do not have enough lifeguards to return to pre-pandemic operating hours in the pools, so the focus at this time will be to continue to offer as many public swim opportunities as possible. As noted in earlier messages, the amount of staff per shift will determine the amount of public that are permitted in the pool at a time

A further update regarding the Community League Swim program will be provided by December 10th. Thank you for your continued patience as we work to successfully resume this program.

Thank you,

Thank you!
